In addition to the guidance above, Creative Sprouts takes the following precautions in reducing the spread of germs/illness at school.
Daily Screening for Students and Staff
We ask every family to do a self administered screening before attending school each day. Families and staff should be able to answer "yes" or "true" to the following statements:
1. I have screened my child for signs of illness and none are observed.
2. I have not given my child any fever reducing medicine this morning.
Handwashing
Children and staff wash hands upon arrival, before and after every meal, when coming inside after recess and whenever it is necessary.
Cleaning and Sanitizing
We use a four step cleaning and sanitizing process. Toys, supplies, learning materials, playground equipment and common touch points throughout the school are sanitized multiple times during the day. The floors and bathrooms are deeply cleaned every evening after the school is closed. Disinfectant spray bottles in the classrooms are emptied and refilled daily and marked with the date.
