This program is a unique mix of Transitional Kindergarten and Traditional Kindergarten. We fully prepare our students for their next year in elementary school, whether it be first grade or a second year of Kindergarten. Our program focuses on handwriting, math, dramatic play, science, foreign language, gardening, language arts, physical education, music and social studies. With a small teacher/child ratio of 1:10, the class is able to explore all of these subjects in depth in a small group setting. To extend learning beyond the classroom, we take the class on 3-4 field trips per year. We end the year with a special graduation ceremony in June and many of our students stay for summer camps as well! This program follows the Lake Washington School District calendar. Before and after school care is available based on open spaces in the program.
