​At Creative Sprouts, we are committed to serving our students healthy snacks and meals.  We focus on each child as a whole- emotionally, educationally and physically.  You want your kids to eat food that is good for their bodies and so do we! We stay away from processed foods and spend the extra time and effort to serve our students home made meals.  Nutrition is very important to us and it shows!  Snacks and meals are included in the monthly tuition.​​

Banana Muffins  DF, GF, EF, NF
Ingredients: 
1/2 C Butter or Coconut Oil
1 C Honey or 1 C Agave Nectar
2 Eggs or 1/2 C Applesauce
3 Mashed bananas
2 C Whole Wheat Flour or Gluten Free Flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 C nuts (optional)
1 C chocolate chips (optional)
Bake at 350 until lightly brown on top and cooked through, about 15-20 minutes.

Our Garden

 We have a big 1,000 square foot garden at our school with raised beds that are filled to the brim with fresh veggies, fruits and flowers every year.  The children love to bring buckets full of veggies in to Mrs. Claudia and she will serve them to the kids the same day with their meals.  Our classes center a huge part of their curriculum around gardening. Each class has their own raised bed that they are responsible for planting, nurturing and harvesting.  In addition to the class beds, we have many "all school" garden beds as well including a bean teepee garden the children can walk through.  We love our garden and spend a lot of time exploring and learning there!
