These little ones are full of so much wonder. At only two years old, they are still pretty new to the world and have so much to discover. Our Preschool 1 class is such a great pathway to many of these discoveries! We know that these young preschoolers need LOVE, one on one attention, LOTS of sensory play, hugs, repetition, a schedule, singing and dancing, silliness, floor time, more child directed activities than teacher directed activities, respect for where they are developmentally, quiet time, stories, gentle guidance and redirection, patience, and even more hugs and love. The list could go on and on. Many of the children learn how to go potty in the toilet in this class as well as many other self help skills. They spend a ton of time outside on our many playgrounds as well as in our garden exploring bugs and planting and harvesting fresh veggies. We want you to know that these little ones are so precious to us and we truly treasure the time we get to spend teaching them! For many of them, it is their first experience in a group setting. It may be their first time away from their grown ups. We are sensitive to this and are here to support the whole family in every way we can!
